sustainAB!LITY festival 2007
Been wondering where I had disappeared to? My lack of update was due to the fact that I was busy branding, designing and marketing as well as coordinating the volunteers for this upcoming premiere sustainAB!LITY festival. If you go to Simon Fraser University, you might start seeing the footprints postered at the bulletin boards on Burnaby Campus (maybe even the leaflets and the business cards).
The idea of this festival is to educate, to inspire and to bring a sense of community to SFU. Despite our differences, to be able to continue live on this earth together is our common link. So, on October 11, 2007 from 10 AM - 5 PM, we are going to celebrate sustainability solutions, humans’ ingenuity and creativity. The festival will be showing the various positive and innovative approach in reducing human impact on our environment. Through our pledge postcards, we’ll be showing simple steps that people can take to reduce their footprints. Hopefully, aside from the solutions, people are able to take away the idea that sustainability can be better thought of as an opportunity rather than a responsibility.
